Guinea pigs need a minimum of 120 × 60 cm for a pair — bigger is always better. They’re prey animals, so the hutch should have a solid-walled sleeping section they can retreat into without sightlines from the garden.
The cleanest indoor option we’ve seen at this size. Solid base, wire upper, and a footprint that fits next to most sofas without being eyesore furniture. Indoor cavies need free-roam time outside the cage too — this is the “home base”, not the whole habitat.
Best for: indoor cavies, family households. Watch-outs: always pair with daily floor-time.
Dimensions: 95 × 44.5 × 44.5 cm

4ft is the right length for two cavies long-term. PawHut’s honest timber, simple latches, and a price that lets you spend the savings on a decent run. Sloped asphalt roof handles UK weather well. We’d call this the entry-level pick we’d actually recommend.
Best for: outdoor pair, budget-conscious first-time owners.

Smaller footprint than the Easipet, with a dedicated sleeping chamber that’s genuinely enclosed (not just “the dark end”). Better for one cavy or a single guinea pig + neutered male rabbit pairing.
Best for: a single cavy, small gardens.

Two storeys is unusual for cavies (their legs aren’t built for steep ramps) but the PawHut’s ramp is gentle enough that piggies use it. Doubles the usable space without doubling the garden footprint.
Best for: two cavies in a small garden. Watch-outs: not for elderly guinea pigs — ramps still aren’t their favourite.
